StudyPug Math Help Scholarship - $1,000.  Submit a 500 - 1000 word essay, "No employment can be managed without arithmetic, no mechanical invention without geometry."  Deadline:  December 15, 2017.  

Burger King Scholars Program - up to $50,000.  Minimum 2.5 cumulative gpa.  Based on extracurricular activities, service and work experience.  Deadline: December 15, 2017.

Kentucky Association of School Business Official Scholarship - $2,500.  A counselor verification form and two letters of reference are required.  Deadline:  December 15, 2017.

Footlocker Scholarship - $20,000.  Minimum 3.0 gpa, embody good sportsmanship, be a leader, and have a passion for service.  Deadline:  December 30, 2017.

Promises Treatment Centers Scholarship - $10,000.  500 word essay describing someone as addicted instead of an addict.  Deadline:  December 31, 2017.

NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund Writing Contests & Scholarship - $1,000.  Open to grades 9 - 12.  1,000 word essay, "What does the 2nd amendment mean to you?"  Deadline:  December 31, 2017.

Profile in Courage Essay Contest - up to $10,000. Essay between 700 - 1,000 words.  Open to students in grades 9 - 12. Deadline:  January 4, 2018.

Rise Scholarship Foundation - $2,500.  Minimum 2.5 cumulative gpa.  Must have a documentated learning disability (ADHD or ADD does not qualify).  Deadline: Jan. 5, 2018.

GE - Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program - $10,000 up to $40,000.  Minimum 3.0 gpa.  Must possess the qualities of a leader to include integrity, drive and citizenship.  Deadline: January 5, 2018.

Optimist Club Essay - up to $2,500.  Open to grades 9 - 12.  700 - 800 word essay, "Can Society Function without Respect?"  Due to Ms. Koontz by noon January 8, 2018.  Application available in Ms. Koontz's office.  

Ronald McDonald House Charities/Hacer National Scholarship - $1,000 - $25,000.  Minimum 2.7 gpa, at least one parent needs to be of Hispanic heritage.  Deadline January 15, 2018.

Coolidge Scholarship - Covers tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study at any accredited American college or university.  Winners will be chosen based on academic performance, interest in public policy for Coolidge values, and humility and service.   For high school juniors only.  Deadline:  Jan. 24, 2018.

Union Plus Scholarships - up to $4,000.  Open to dependent children of current or retired members of participating unions.  a minimum 3.0 GPA.  Deadline:  Jan. 31, 2018.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship - up to $30,000.  Show leadership potential, demonstrate a dedication to community service and present evidence of financial need. Deadline: February 1, 2018.

National FFA Collegiate Scholarships - 352 scholarships at $1,500 each.  Plan to pursue a degree or certification in specific area of agriculture or chemical/electrical/mechanical engineering (see complete list of majors at GrowAgLeaders.com) Does NOT have to be an FFA member.  Deadline:  February 1, 2018.

Ft. Knox Spouses & Community Club Scholarship - up to $1,000.  For dependent child of Active Duty military, retired, or Natioanl Guard/Reserve assigned to Ft. Knox.  500 word essay.  Deadline:  February 7, 2018.

Alzheimer's Foundation of America Scholarship - $5,000.  1,200 - 1,500 essay on how alzheimer has changed or impacted your life.  Deadline: Feb. 15, 2018.

Vegetarian College Scholarship - $5,000.  Applicants will be judged on having shown compassion, courage, and a strong commitment to promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet/lifestyle.  Deadline: Feb. 20, 2018.

Bardstown Optimist Club Oratorical Contest - up to $22,500.  Open to grades 9 - 12.  Speech on "Where are My Roots of Optimism?"  Application available in Ms. Koontz's office.  Deadline:  Feb. 27, 2018.

 

KY Federation of Republican Women - $1,500.  Senior girl who has been politically active within the Republican Party and is a registered Republican.  Essay and two letters of recommendation required.  Deadline:  April 2, 2018.  Application in Ms. Koontz's office.

Advanced Manufacturing Technician Program / Bluegrass Community and Technical College -
     Earn money while you attend school.  Attend class full time two days a week and work 
     three days.  

 

 

 

-Assumption College - Annual $2,500 Scholarship for Catholic High School Students.

- Bellarmine University - Get a $1,000 for simply completing the FAFSA.

~ Thomas More College gives $13,000 to Bethlehem graduates with a 2.5 and minimum 20
     ACT.  Bishop Roger J. Foys Ministry and Service Scholarship up to $32,000 must have at          least a 22 ACT and 3.0 GPA.

~Saint Michael's College in Vermont gives $5,000 per year to graduates from Catholic high
     schools. Admission application must be received by Feb. 1, 2015.

-Seton Hall University - Catholic high school graduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a 29             composite ACT will be awarded $2,000 annually for four years.

~Brescia University gives the Catholic Connection Grant (1/2 tuition) from Catholic high
     schools.

~Aquinas College (Nashville) gives $1,000 to students from a Catholic high school.

-Tennessee Tech offers Eagle's Reach Tuition Reduction program, a savings of $11,200 per         year.

-Centre College - All students who apply for admission by January 15 are considered for a              merit scholarship.  Scholarship information link.

~Morehead University will award new freshmen with a minimum 3.25 GPA and 22 ACT a                $2,500 scholarship; a 3.50 and a 25 = $5,000; a 3.75 and 28 ACT = $8.000. Must apply

-To be considered for the William T. Young, Kenan, & Trustee Scholarships at Transylvania
     University,
application must be submitted by December 1.  

-University of Kentucky - Completed admissions application and transcript must be received         by December 1.  Scholarship information link.

-University of Louisville - Honors Program requirements are 3.5 GPA , minimum 29 ACT and
     evidence of leadership, service and rigorous curriculum. Deadline for application is

     UofL Mentored Scholarships (Brown Fellows; Grawemeyer; MLK ; and MCConnell) deadline           is December 15.

     UofL Guaranteed Entrance programs deadline is December 15.

-Western Kentucky University - Honors College application serves as the application for the          Cherry Presidential scholarship if received by December 1.  Admission application                  deadline is November 15.  For all other scholarships, students must be admitted by                January 15th and submit the TopDollar scholarship application and all required                      documents by February 1st.  Scholarship information link.
