Throwback Thursday!
#ThrowbackThursday | Alumni Spotlight: Mary Beth Childers Class of 2015!
This week, we're shining the spotlight on Bethlehem alum Mary Beth Childers, Class of 2015! Mary Beth Childers is a true example of what it means to be a Bethlehem star. During her time as a student at Bethlehem, she was deeply involved in a variety of activities—she shined on the Speech Team and Swim Team, served as Student Council Historian, was a member of the French National Honor Society, and even took center stage as an anchor on the Bethlehem Today Show—a major throwback before STAR News even existed! In fact, Mary Beth was part of the very first broadcasting class that helped launch what we now know as STAR News. Today, she has come full circle, returning to Bethlehem as an English teacher, where she inspires the next generation of students in her AP Language class. Her passion for learning, leadership, and school spirit continues to leave a lasting impact.

Appreciation!
Happy Principal’s Day to Mrs. Sara Thurmond! Her leadership is truly one of a kind, and we are so grateful to have her positive spirit guiding our school. Mrs. Thurmond’s dedication and passion for Bethlehem have brought so many wonderful opportunities to our students, and her impact is felt in every corner of our community. We are incredibly lucky to have her leading the way!

Congratulations!
We had a wonderful time celebrating our sophomores at the Sophomore Sweet Treat Party! After taking the Pre-ACT 10, an impressive 79% of the class met their target score, showing incredible growth from their freshman year. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication! A special thank you to Mrs. Fran Spalding with Sweet Frannies for providing the delicious sweet treats that made the celebration even sweeter!
