Star Term News!

Mrs. Melega and Mrs. Payne’s Star Term class, “Forest School,” has taken learning beyond the classroom and into the beauty of Bernheim Forest, where students are connecting with nature on both a practical and emotional level. During their visit, they experienced an inspiring hike to see the majestic Bernheim Giants—an unforgettable moment of creativity and wonder nestled in the woods. Along the way, students also learned valuable lessons about trail maintenance, conservation, and the importance of caring for natural spaces.

Bethlehem out and about!

One of the many exciting opportunities offered during Star Term is the option for students to participate in an internship—allowing them to step outside the traditional classroom and gain real-world, hands-on work experience. This year, several of our Bethlehem students are truly excelling in their placements! Pictured are Malorie Thiel and Lily Kate Mattingly, shining bright at their internships, representing Bethlehem with professionalism, confidence, and a strong work ethic. We are so thrilled they have the chance to grow their skills, explore potential career paths, and gain meaningful experience that will serve them well into the future. It brings us so much joy to see our students thriving, embracing responsibility, and making the most of these incredible learning experiences.

Star Term!

Mrs. Craig’s and Mrs. Mudd’s Star Term class “Debunking Disney” has been bringing creativity and critical thinking to life in the best way! Recently, students wrote and performed original skits connecting Olaf’s Frozen Adventure to the real cultural traditions of Norway, exploring everything from holiday customs to historical influences behind the storytelling. Their performances were full of humor, insight, and meaningful connections that showed both their knowledge and their imagination. It was such a fun, interactive, and energetic way to learn—getting students on their feet, collaborating, and celebrating culture through performance. We are so proud of the curiosity and creativity this class continues to show. Stay tuned… this magical learning is just getting started at Bethlehem!
