New Hire!
Kirsten McGill is a passionate educator, lifelong athlete, and creative spirit, proudly serving at Bethlehem as the assistant coaches for track, cross country, and softball. A proud Bethlehem alumna, Kirsten has deep roots in the school’s culture—both as a former student-athlete and now as a coach and teacher.
As a high school student, Kirsten competed in basketball, softball, and cross country, playing a key role in growing and shaping those programs. Now, she finds it incredibly rewarding to be coaching the very sports she once helped build, pouring back into the next generation of athletes with the same dedication and heart she once brought to the field and court. She went on to attend Lindsey Wilson College, where she continued her athletic career in cross country and track, while also exploring another lifelong passion—art. Her love for art has always been woven into her identity as a student, teacher, and coach.
Kirsten holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with certifications in multiple subject areas, and a Master’s in Special Education (P–12), with a focus on Learning and Behavior Disorders. For the past three years, she has worked at Boston School in various roles—teaching special education, math, and STEM—always finding ways to bring creativity and hands-on learning into the classroom.
Now, she is beyond excited to return to Bethlehem as the school's new art teacher, stepping into a role that feels like a true homecoming. For Kirsten, teaching art is not just about technique—it’s about encouraging students to find their voice, express their ideas, and discover new ways of seeing the world.
With her unique blend of athletic experience, academic depth, and creative passion, Kirsten is committed to making a meaningful impact on her students—both in the classroom and through every practice, game, and meet. Please join us in welcoming Elizabeth to the Bethlehem family! We are so excited to have her on board and can’t wait to see the impact she will have on our students. Welcome, Kirsten!
